Tragic genocide of Channel 4 high-flier at the back of How To Look Good Naked

A senior television executive who was believed to have been in dispute with her employers has died in a suspected suicide.

Sarah Mulvey, a Channel 4 commissioning editor and a highly regarded TV producer, was found dead in her flat in North London by police who broke down her door after they were alerted by a concerned relative.

The 34-year-old Oxford graduate, who made programmes such as Ten Years Younger, Brat Camp and How To Look Good Naked, had been seldom seen at Channel 4s offices in Central London since last spring.

Several TV sources say it was ;common knowledge she had a difficult working relationship with Hamish Mykura, Channel 4s head of documentaries and More 4.

Miss Mulvey, described by former colleagues as ;highly gifted and ;well-liked but also ;very intense, is believed to have raised issues about her treatment with the networks bosses last year.

A Channel 4 spokesman refused to say whether or not there had been an exchange of letters or if there had been any internal grievance process.

She was discovered dead on January 28, when police visited the 350,000 two-bedroom flat she rented in Hampstead after being called by a relative.
